Our Humanitarian Engagement

Globally, forced displacement has reached unprecedented levels: by mid‑2025, more than 122 million people were forcibly displaced from their homes due to conflict, violence, and persecution, creating immense and growing needs for shelter and dignified living conditions. In addition, cuts in humanitarian funding are threatening essential services for nearly 13 million displaced people, including basic health, water, and sanitation, further exacerbating their vulnerability.

Too many of these individuals and families are forced to live for years — even decades — in tents and makeshift camps, exposed to the elements, lacking privacy, safety, and basic dignity. This reality contrasts starkly with the fundamental human right to a decent, secure, and humane space to live — a right affirmed by international humanitarian principles.

At H7Shelter, our commitment goes beyond innovation: we are dedicated to dignity through design. We believe that quality design is not a luxury but a human right, especially where it is most needed. Thoughtful, human‑centred design can significantly improve psychological well‑being, social interaction, and everyday life for displaced populations.

That belief guides our humanitarian engagement: we reinvest a portion of our revenues into humanitarian activities, collaborating with trusted organizations, civil society, and institutional partners to support shelter, community regeneration, and resilience initiatives. By doing this, we aim to amplify impact where traditional aid is falling short, directing resources to on‑the‑ground programs that uphold human dignity.

Our partnerships span non‑governmental organizations, public institutions, and frontline responders. Through these collaborations, we contribute not only technology and products, but also strategic support for inclusive, long‑term shelter solutions, training, and deployment models adapted to local needs.

We understand that dignity, safety, and quality of life are universal aspirations. Our humanitarian commitment reflects this conviction: everyone deserves a space they can call home, built with integrity, care, and beauty — even under the most extreme conditions.
